Falkland Palace
Last Sunday, Aaron and I took a trip to Falkland, a beautiful little town nestled between the Lomond Hills.  It's probably best known for Falkland Palace, a residence of Stewart kings and queens.

We got to enjoy the beautiful gardens at Falkland and revel in the nature that surrounded us.  I never seem to get tired of the trees, flowers and insects to be found when out and about!

Aaron and I also dropped in to the Falkland Vintage Fayre to see what goodies we could find amongst the wonderful, vintage stalls.  There was a lot to look at including gorgeous dresses, handmade soaps, old photographs and postcards, vinyl and lots of household items.

Nook and Cranny

It was a fantastic display and so nice to see others enjoying the vintage items of days gone by.  Aaron and I found a small shelf unit which we're very happy about.  We also purchased an ink well, a bottle used for smelling salts and a little perfume bottle.

The Falkland Vintage Fayre will be holding their Christmas event in December which I'm sure we'll be attending!

If you know the names of any of the stalls that were at the vintage fayre please drop me a comment so I can link them!  :)
